Driving Directions to Finish Area
This is the first aid station for the 50 mile at 7.7 miles. No crew access and no drop bags.
This is the second aid station for the 50 mile at 11.7 miles.
Driving Directions: Leave Finland aid station by turning right on Co Rd 7. drive 6.2 miles to Benson Lake Road and entrance to Crosby Manitou State Park. Turn right onto Benson Lake Road and drive 0.5 mile to aid station on left (in parking lot). There will be runners on Benson Lake Road.
This is the third aid station for the 50 mile at 21.1 miles.
Driving Directions: return 0.5 mile to Co Rd 7. Turn Right on Co Rd 7 and drive 4.0 miles to Co Rd 8. Turn right on Co Rd 8 and drive 5.2 miles to Sugarloaf Road. Turn right on Sugarloaf Rd and drive 2.5 miles to aid station on right. Narrow road, park only on one side of road.
This is the fourth aid station for the 50 mile at 26.7 miles. Cutoff time is 1:30 pm (7.5 hours)
Driving Directions: continue straight on Sugarloaf Rd 1.2 miles to Hwy 61. Turn left on 61 and go 5.5 miles to Cramer Rd (Cook Co. 1). Turn left on Cramer Rd and go 3.6 miles to the aid station. Limited parking at aid station, park on one side of road.
This is the fifth aid station for the 50 mile at 33.8 miles.
Driving Directions: Go back 3.6 miles to Hwy 61. Turn left and go 1.2 miles to Temperance River Rd. Turn left on Temperance River Rd, aid station will be at 0.9 mile. Go past aid station 0.5 mile to a turn around and park only on the same side of road as the aid station
This is the sixth aid station for the 50 mile at 39.5 miles. Cutoff time is 5:30 pm (11.5 hours).
Driving Directions: Go Back 0.9 mile to Hwy 61. turn left on 61 (note heavy traffic and poor visibility at this intersection). Go 2.7 miles to Sawbill trail (Cook Co 2). Turn left on Sawbill Trail, go 2.5 miles and turn right into parking lot.
This is the 7th and last aid station for the 50 mile at 45 miles. Cutoff time is 5:00 pm (11 hours) for runners without lights and 7:00 pm (13 hours) for ALL runners.
Driving Directions: Go back 2.5 miles to Hwy 61, turn left and go 4.7 miles to Onion River Road. Turn left on Onion River Road and go 2.0 miles, aid station and parking lot are on the left. Runners will be crossing the parking lot so use caution.
From Oberg Mountain: Go back 2.0 miles to Hwy 61, turn left and go 2.6 miles to Lutsen Ski area road, turn left, go up hill and look for Caribou Highland Lodge on the left.
